The cricket season is in full swing and whilst many of you have been watching and keeping up to date with Derby Falcons ongoing season, Jackson Purdue Lever have been working hard with a brilliant design team to help regenerate Derbyshire Cricket Club’s 3aaa County Ground by offering our Civil and Structural expertise for the refurbishment of their 3aaa pavilion and the all new Media Centre which will soon be under construction.

Derbyshire Cricket Club with Derby City Council are also bidding to be a host city for the 2017 ICC Women’s World Cup and along with 100 other local businesses Jackson Purdue Lever are proud to be backing the bid and helping put Derbyshire on the map in the cricketing world!

The grand unveiling in July of the 6m-high sculpture at the Pentagon Island created by Briggs of Burton has kicked started Derbyshire County Cricket Club’s bid for the city to host the 2017 ICC Women’s World Cup.

Chloe Jackson, Admin and Finance Manager says ‘I am personally extremely proud that Jackson Purdue Lever are backing Derby Cricket Clubs bid to become a host for the 2017 ICC Women’s World Cup, being a keen sportsperson myself I know how important it is to propel sport into the spotlight to get more and more people aware and involved.
