We are thrilled to announce planning permission has been secured for Godwin Development’s first single family housing (SFH) development. The Cathedral Green development will comprise 78 houses and flexible commercial space.
Assisting Godwin’s to gain their planning permission we were pleased to provide our pre-planning services (Flood Risk, Drainage Strategy, Geo-environmental Ground Investigation and Transport Assessment).
The site will include two- and three-bedroom houses with private gardens or terraces, along with 85 resident and guest parking spaces.
The scheme has been devised specifically for the single family rentals market and offers high-quality homes in an area with robust demand characteristics.
The planning consent obtained from East Cambridgeshire District Council is to deliver the homes using modular methods of construction. We will be undertaking the foundation design to support the offsite constructed modular housing units.
Working along side the design team we are ensuring the adoptable S38 road, S104 drainage infrastructure and off site S278 design works for the development. This is including a pedestrian crossing and cycleway extension.
