We are pleased to share the successful completion of yet another significant project within the education sector, marking the completion of the new stqate of the art science block over at Castle Donington College.

This innovative extension encompasses two fully equipped science laboratories, a prep room, and much-needed additional toilet facilities. Its strategic placement adjacent to the existing science facilities, along with the replacement of an unused outdoor swimming pool. This underscores the East Midlands Education Trust’s commitment to enhancing the college’s infrastructure.

In line with the ongoing expansion efforts at Castle Donington College, we are thrilled to have collaborated closely with the YMD Boon, Kingfisher Construction and the rest of the design team to bring to fruition the new science block extension, which now stands as a contemporary focal point within the college premises. Having contributed our expertise to the team in delivering our Civil and Structural Services to the college.

Working with the Client and members of the design team we determined appropriate finished levels. This included floor levels, to achieve the most economic solution whilst meeting any planning requirements. We also colaberated in developing and designing the building frame layouts to aid selection of the most suitable form of construction.
