Etiquette Park completed August 2022
Etiquette Park for Clowes Developments has reached competition.
The project comprised construction of two large manufacturing and distribution warehouses in central Ilkeston. The site is a brownfield site which was formerly used for coal extraction. The buildings have a combined floor area of circa 4500 square meters, with 800m2 of internal office space over two floors.
Jackson Purdue Lever worked closely with the design team provided design support services for foundations, drainage, external works and earthworks
Key to the project was a cut and fill exercise to balance the import and export of materials from the site, whilst maintaining a gravity drainage connection from the site for the surface water.
Root barriers were also installed on the site boundary as a cost effective measure of protecting footings from trees and avoiding deep excavations for pad foundations.
We hope Catering24 Ltd & Welda enjoy their new premises!
